The friends we once had
the memories we shared
the people we loved
and who we cared
Words unspoken
and never said
the lives, slowly drifting away
my childhood ending
my true life starting
My friends all gone away
all distant and mature
while my childhood blurs
I wonder what went wrong
The future shines bright as day
As I stand up and say
"Life must go on, through the sorrow and the joy.
I am happy to be alive here today."
